I want to take this opportunity to let you know about the plans for opening the campus of Memorial Baptist Church. It will soon be three months of non-traditional worship for us. We have managed, by the grace of our Lord Jesus, to maintain a virtual fellowship with many of you but it is not the same as coming together by any means!
I do look forward to the day when we are able to return to open activities throughout our facility and weekly schedule. However, we know this could take a few, if not several more months. As for now, I am truly grateful for the ability to open with a fraction of normalcy. I know you all will be kind, courteous and respectful to others as we blaze the trail into this new territory.
As we return for corporate worship on May 31st, we will strive to adhere as close as possible with all requirements and recommendations published by Governor Beshear and CDC.gov. Although we will not exclude anyone, we hope everyone will graciously submit to these authorities as well.
There will be no Sunday school or nursery at this time. All children should accompany their parents in the sanctuary. I always enjoy families worshipping together.
Please join me as we return to corporate worship and follow the following guidelines for a safe and healthy fellowship!
If you are not comfortable or you are at-risk by a return to corporate worship, please remain at home and continue to take advantage of our on-line worship or call the church office and request a dvd. Your health and safety is our utmost desire.
